Initial Setup

Add your Tank Capacity and Water to the table below. You can change the name from Main Tank if you wish
Dr Tim’s Ammonium Chloride is setup by default as an ammonia source. If you don’t use Dr Tim’s, you can modify the values in the table below using the information given to you on the bottle. You will also need to change the names in the table under ‘Ammonia Dosing Guide’.
That’s it! Simple huh?

<aside> ⚠️ The information for Dr Tim’s dosage was correct at time of creation. PLEASE double check it is accurate and matches the instructions on your bottle before you start following the dosages in the calculator.

Usage

Use the buttons to the left to log your water test results, subsequent ammonia doses and any water changes.
The table in ‘Cycling Progress’ will show you how your ammonia processing is going.
- Ammonia In Tank - Shows you much ammonia was in your tank before the latest test based on your previous ammonia reading and how much ammonia you dosed between the last test an this one.
- Last Ammonia Reading - Your ammonia reading from your last test.
- Ammonia Processed - The difference between the Ammonia In Tank and the Last Ammonia Reading
- Hours Between Tests - The number of hours between your latest test and the one before.
